Miguel celebrated his birthday last week and I made one of his favorite cakes. It is called Beach Cake and honestly, I really don’t know why. It is sinfully easy to make, is delicious, and best made a day ahead. Sorry for the cruddy photo.

Ingredients:

1 German Chocolate cake mix

1 can of Condensed milk (I use fat free)

1 jar of Caramel ice cream topping

1-2 bags of Heath bar candy chips

1 container of Cool Whip

Directions:

Make cake in 9x13 baking dish. While still hot, poke holes and pour condensed milk over top then caramel topping. Sprinkle with Heath bar candy chips. Cool and top with Cool Whip. Keep refrigerated.
