One of the many incredible things about Miguel’s school is being able to take part in the many activities and events that occur at the Science Museum and Fair Park. Each year the classes go to watch the raising of Big Tex in preparation for the Texas State Fair.

William and I joined Miguel’s class to wait for Big Tex to be lifted by crane and placed in his spot for the Fair. He is huge and it is quite an undertaking. The kids were in awe, and if it is something you have never seen you must witness it at least once.
