I took the boys to the Dallas Zoo this week, and, of course, I picked the one day that the weather was 91 degrees outside. We got there just after opening time, and made our way towards the elephant fountain. William was impressed there were coins in the fountain. The boys were excited to find a duck in the stream near the fountain.

After the duck excitement, we went to the Wilds of Africa to see the elephants, giraffes, and lions oh my! They weren’t too interested in the animals, but the Land Rover they could “drive” was the. best. thing. ever.

Next up was the monorail and lunch.

We visited the children’s area for a little while, but it was pretty busy with school field trips. They played on the playground and visited the large coy tank. After a spin on the carousel that Miguel loved while William, the dare devil himself, refused to sit on an animal and clung to me for life we called it a day and headed home.
